Jayne M. Geiger

About Jayne

Jayne attended an independent school and from an early age understood the difference in the quality of the education and the teachers and administrators. After receiving a Master’s Degree in Education from Bank Street College of Education in NYC, she began her 42 year career teaching in a public school. From there she ventured to International Schools, the Frankfurt International School and Copenhagen International Junior School, where she worked with professionals from all over the world, as well as students from many different cultures and backgrounds, and traveled extensively.

Upon returning to the U. S. Jayne began a 34 year tenure as teacher and Head of School at the Far Hills Country Day School in New Jersey. During that time she served on many boards for schools and not-for-profits and completed a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision. She has lectured in China on American Education and visited schools in Singapore to study their educational approaches.

Jayne joins Educators’ Collaborative to conduct searches for heads and administrative positions, and to assist schools and heads in strategic thinking, planning, governance and executive coaching.
