Douglas C. Cummings

Douglas C. Cummings joined Educators’ Collaborative in 2014. In addition to executive searches, his consulting practice includes governance, strategic planning, executive coaching, mentoring and leadership team development. As an EC Partner, he is fully committed to positioning schools for success through effective leadership.

 

Prior to joining Educators’ Collaborative, he served for 10 years as the Executive Director of The Independent Schools Association of Northern New England. During that time he led the ISANNE Executive Coaching Pilot Project for new Heads, and founded ISANNELEADS, the Association’s Leadership Institute. Prior to his work at ISANNE, he was the Head of School at Maine Central Institute for 18 years. Also during his career as an independent school professional, he has been very active in association work chairing numbers of school accreditation teams and serving on the Commission for Independent Schools at the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
