About the School

The Quad Preparatory School is a young, innovative and successful school in the middle of a period of rapid growth and expansion. Beginning with 3 students in the basement of an East Village Synagogue six years ago, Quad Prep currently serves 113 twice-exceptional students in grades K-12 in Lower Manhattan. Founded by Kim Busi, a physician psychiatrist and mother of a 2e child, the school’s highly innovative, personalized and integrated (academic and clinical/SEL) model has met a huge unmet need for families with gifted children who learn differently. Quad Prep is also the preeminent center of 2e excellence and training in New York City.
