About the School
Founded in 1821 in a two-story building in the town center of New Hampton as New Hampton Academy, New Hampton School today is a dynamic and forward-thinking boarding and day school of 325 students on a spectacular, well-maintained, and well-equipped 340-acre campus in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
With a varied and challenging academic curriculum, including the IB, several signature programs, broad offerings in the arts, and a highly competitive athletics program, the school is remarkably student-centered. Recognizing that each student brings a unique set of skills and attributes, the dedicated faculty and staff meet each arriving student where they are and provide them with the opportunities, challenges, and support to discover and realize their aspirations.
